- Content: Posts, photos, videos, messages, and event details you create
- Usage data: How you interact with the app, features used, and session duration
- Device information: Device type, operating system, and unique device identifiers

- To provide and operate the RealConnect platform
- To connect you with friends and send event invitations
- To send push notifications including event reminders
- To detect and prevent misuse, spam, or harmful content

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. Your information may be shared only in the following circumstances:
- With other users as part of normal app functionality (e.g. your profile visible to friends)
- With service providers who help us operate the platform (e.g. Supabase for database, Firebase for notifications)
- When required by law or to protect the safety of our users
4. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored securely using Supabase infrastructure. We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit and at rest. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
5. Content Moderation
RealConnect is designed to be a safe, family-friendly platform. We actively moderate content to prevent nudity, violence, harassment, hate speech, and illegal material. Users can report content or other users directly within the app. Our moderation team reviews all reports.
6. Your Rights
- Access and update your personal information at any time in Settings
- Delete your account and associated data via Settings → Account Deletion
- Request a copy of your data by contacting us
- Opt out of non-essential communications
7. Children's Privacy
RealConnect is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, please contact us immediately.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app. Continued use of RealConnect after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
